The 2010 Tauranga Boat & Leisure Show showcases the regions finest in maritime and outdoor adventure products and services. The event hosts over 100 exhibitors and attracts 8-9,000 visitors.

 

This year will feature new boats, great fishing gear, show specials, top prizes, new products, educational areas, live entertainment, great food, live cooking demos, the kidzone and so much more... things are looking to really heat up on 10-12 September. 

 

The Tauranga Volunteer Coastguard has joined forces with the Tauranga Boat Show this year to help raise awareness, and money, for the coming season now almost upon us. 

 

The Tauranga Volunteer Coastguard raffle will be the key prize here this year, in what will be a big month for the local coastguard organization. Get your raffle tickets and support your local coastguard at the show to be in to win a MAC 360 Forward Boat with a 30hp Electric Start Tohatsu full of goodies from Tauranga's very own Steve’s Marine Supplies. 

 

This makes a package of almost $19,000. Now that's worth winning! 

 

New this year the launch of the Boat Show Radio, located in The Master Tech Marine Pavilion’s theatre where you can get the chance to have your say. Designed to showcase the key players & personalities from the regions authorities & educational organization’s, the opportunity has grown to include the show exhibitors, local boating clubs as well as the chance for those with something to contribute to the marine, boating & fishing industries to have their say as well. The Radio Network's Grayson Ottaway will be running the ship with first mate and galley hand (international chef & author) Peter Blakeway doing live cooking demo's here in the theatre as well, it's bound to be a place of action & attraction at this years Tauranga Boat & Leisure Show. 

 

The Big Fish are also on board this year with the Big Fish Bait &Tackle Photo Competition. Bring in a photo of you and your Big Fish, put your name and phone number on the back, stick it up on the competition wall in the theatre and you're in the draw to win a $650 Big Fish Gift Voucher. Simple as that. And, if your 13 years or younger, there’s a draw just for you with a $150 Big Fish Gift Voucher up for grabs.  

 

With live music & entertainment, great food and an outdoor bar, as well as a special kidzone and hundreds of free car parks right alongside the shows new east entrance, it’s sure to be a great day for the whole family.
